Sophisticated minimalism

With the launch of MedLinks Punjabi Bagh, Dr Pankaj Chaturvedi elaborates on how the new clinic caters to growing demands with personalised care and cutting-edge treatments, in an interview with Shriyal Sethumadhavan.

Indulging in the world of luxury and rejuvenation, Dr Pankaj Chaturvedi, Hair Transplant Surgeon &Founder of MedLinks Clinic, Delhi, has announced the launch of his new clinic in MedLinks Punjabi Bagh. This new clinic is set to offer ultra-premium treatments amid an ambiance of perfection. He shares more about the inspiration behind the new launch, the clinic’s design, and his plans going forward.

Can you tell us about the inspiration behind launching this new clinic in West Delhi?

The inspiration to launch MedLinks Punjabi Bagh stems from the overwhelming support and love entrusted to us by our esteemed guests and patients from this dynamic part of the city. Over the years, MedLinks has become synonymous with a trusted destination for world-class skin and hair treatment services in Delhi. We have witnessed a growing demand for the unique treatments that MedLinks is known for. The launch of our new branch is a natural progression to bring our premium services closer to those who have entrusted us.

What is the size of the new clinic and how many rooms is it designed for? Are there rooms designed for specific treatment types?

Our newest clinic at Punjabi Bagh follows a strategic layout spanning 3,000 sq ft, adhering to world-class standards. The clinic is equipped with eight specialised treatment rooms, ensuring a personalised and exclusive experience for our valued patients. The clinic features two consultation rooms, each designed to provide a private and comfortable space for in-depth discussions. A dedicated manager room ensures seamless operations, while the reception area welcomes visitors with a serene ambiance, setting the tone for the exceptional care that follows. Adding a touch of indulgence to the medical professional atmosphere is our doctor’s lounge, enhancing the overall experience for both our practitioners and our cherished clients.

Clinic design plays a crucial role in patient experience. What were some key considerations you had in mind while designing your new clinic?

MedLinks believes in ‘sophisticated minimalism’. Our design and style personify a simple and uncluttered approach, yet carry an element of grace and refined taste. Our core focus while designing our new clinic has always been to provide an aesthetically pleasing ambiance. It was meticulously integrated with a thoughtful and wellcrafted concept to deliver a quality experience for our patients, reflecting MedLinks’ essence for state-of-the-art dermatological and aesthetic service.

What unique features or elements have you incorporated into the design of your clinic to enhance the patient experience?

Our clinic’s unique features are simplistic in looks and modern in design, evident in the clean lines, uncluttered spaces, and minimalist aesthetic, which collectively create a visually calming and appealing atmosphere. The clinic’s ambiance is carefully curated to provide a serene and comfortable setting for patients, with thoughtful integration of soothing colour schemes, textures, and lighting accompanied by soft instrumental music lingering in our treatment premises. This complements the overall smooth and peaceful MedLinks experience that we promise our patients.

How do the aesthetic and functional aspects of your clinic design impact patient satisfaction and overall treatment outcomes?

The aesthetic and functional aspects of our clinic design play a pivotal role in shaping patient satisfaction and treatment outcomes. At MedLinks, we recognise that a well-designed clinic contributes to a positive patient experience and ultimately influences treatment effectiveness. From a welcoming lift lobby to well-equipped pantry services offering signature drinks, we leave no aspect untouched when it comes to enhancing service efficiencies. Therefore, we consistently strive to maintain a clinic infrastructure that aligns with the highest standards of clinical functionality.

How do you plan to leverage the design and aesthetics of your clinic to differentiate yourself in the competitive landscape of aesthetic medicine?

We envision leveraging a unique design infused with the latest technologies, embodying a ‘futuristic design’ concept that stays ahead of its time. This forward-thinking approach becomes a distinctive element that sets us apart. Our strategic approach involves creating a visually appealing and modern ambiance that reflects our commitment to cutting-edge aesthetic practices. Notably, our concept of ‘futuristic design’ is underscored by the success of our aesthetic clinic from 10 years ago, which still meets the standards of clinic and aesthetic designs, showcasing our enduring commitment to staying at the forefront of the industry.

Looking ahead, what are your aspirations and goals for your new clinic, both in terms of patient care and business growth?

Our overarching goal has always been to offer comprehensive and innovative solutions. With the strategic placement of our new clinic in West Delhi, we aspire to broaden our treatment horizons and ensure that our specialised services are easily accessible to a wider demographic. We look forward to continuing our mission of providing excellent care and contributing to the well-being of the community.
