Faces of Change

The face tells a story – of age, emotion, vitality, and sometimes, of concerns that need your expert touch. In the current scenario, the demand for facial treatments is evolving faster than ever, and your role as aesthetic medicine practitioners is only growing to be more and more crucial. You all will agree that in India, the rising awareness and accessibility of advanced treatments today are reshaping the aesthetics landscape. And at the forefront of this transformation is you – our aesthetic medicine practitioners.

This edition of Aesthetic Medicine India dives deep into the intricacies of facial treatments and concerns. It covers the transformative power of skin boosters (pg 16) and delves into the rejuvenating effects of the vampire facial (pg 19). Also, as pigmentation issues remain a common concern, “From Brown Spots to Brighter Skin” (pg 25) addresses innovative solutions. For those focused on delicate areas, “Revive, Renew, Rejuvenate” (pg 28) discusses the use of polynucleotides for the eyes. Meanwhile, surgical strategies for facial sagging (pg 32) and holistic approaches prioritising natural results (pg 38) highlight various treatment options available.

Looking beyond treatments, this edition also emphasises the significance of knowledge and growth. Articles such as “The Perpetual Journey of Learning” (pg 50) underscore the need for continuous education, while “For ‘Insta’ Reach” (pg 52) provides insights into building your digital presence.

Lastly, I am thrilled to share that the Aesthetic Medicine India Conference & Exhibition 2025 will return to Mumbai on May 17-18, 2025. This event will be a cornerstone in ushering in a new era of medical aesthetics, fostering innovation, and strengthening the aesthetic fraternity.

Here’s to shaping the future of aesthetics, one patient at a time.
