Carving a name for itself in the semi-permanent makeup market, Victress Beauty Academy has number of courses to offer.

V ictress Beauty Academy (VBA) has been one of the important names in India’s semi-permanent makeup (PMU) industry. Our country’s semi-PMU history and the current state has witnessed enthusiasts’ longing for a go-to name. With consistent efforts to solidify its services and ideology, VBA has become one of the most looked up to names. As founders, we, Raman Chohan and I, have dedicated ourselves to VBA and the results have been evident in our students across the world. Moreover, a majority of VBA graduates have become full-time trainers, displaying their skills over the years at our academies. With its presence in multiple cities across India and Canada, VBA aims to condition more than 1,000 trainers in the coming few months. The fact that VBA has gained support at a time when the topic of semi-PMU is barely touched upon is a testament to VBA’s vision and goals of transforming the industry in India and making it accessible to all. One of the best ways of spreading the word is an academy. Here, people can have a first-hand experience and the closest possible look at what goes into having such well-finished results. Thus, after much research, brainstorming, and everything in between, VBA designed several courses to groom the students, who will further spread the knowledge.

VBA’s offering includes courses in microblading, ombre powder brows, microshading, brow correction, lip blush, and more! These are packaged in a masterclass where students receive personal attention, social media sessions, business knowledge, extended support period, and job placements. Students graduating from VBA are eligible for placement as a trainer at the academy itself, providing them with an enriching experience.

Students get a detailed breakdown of the technique, its duration, benefits, and suitability as per the model. VBA’s masterclass is a hands-on training method that includes theory and practical sessions – both formats adding equal value. While the theory classes help students grasp the intricacies of the process, practical sessions are to revise and practice the same. Here are some of the courses and their detailed layout.

Microblading

VBA teaches students to manually draw each strand with a microblade and fill gaps in the natural brows. The overall effect of microblading helps achieve realistic and intricate brows. A single session’s results of VBA’s microblading last for about three months.

Ombre brows

In the ombre brows technique, we use our custom-made tools to insert pigments into the skin with precision and uniformity. Both aspects are crucial for getting a consistent powder finish, which is achieved only by using makeup in a repeated manner. This, too, lasts for around three months.

Combination brows

When you pair VBA’s microbladed and ombre brows, the result is a combination of brows. The gaps are filled at the beginning of the brows, making them visibly shaped and leaving them with soft powdery touch.

Brow lamination

For clients needing a consistent and thick finish on their brows, VBA recommends brow lamination. It grooms brows and gives a slicked-up shape to hide small gaps. This procedure takes about six to eight weeks.

Lip neutralisation

Apart from the brows, VBA also helps its clients get their desired texture of lips. With neutralisation/correction method, it can heal your pink tones. Because the hyperpigmented parts should be removed and balance the overall tone, about two to four sessions are required for the correction process.

Lip blush

One of the most game-changing techniques is VBA’s Lip Blush. It gives you a definite silhouette with a shade of your choice. With a calculated density, shape, and contour, Lip Blush can alter the overall appearance of your lips and enhance your looks.

Eye lash extension

VBA’s artists place customised lashes on natural strands in an even format, giving the eyelashes not only a dense look but also a subtle popped finish.

VBA is set to launch a bunch of new courses soon. Some of them are likely to be unveiled sooner than expected. But to know what is in the pipeline, head to our website.
