Merz Aesthetics ropes in Teyana Taylor as Xeomin brand partner

“Teyana Taylor embodies the true meaning of ‘Beauty on Your Terms’ through her music, style and, now, her beauty treatments,” reportedly said Patrick Urban, Merz Aesthetics President, North America.“As one of the most dynamic and talented female entertainers, we are thrilled to partner with her in furthering our mission in bringing authentic confidence to life and encouraging others to do what makes them feel most confident as well.”

R&B singer Teyana Taylor has been announced as Merz Aesthetics’ new brand partner for anti-wrinkle treatment Xeomin. This is the first time that Teyana has partnered with an aesthetics brand.

Xeomin, which has been approved by the FDA, is a double filtered anti-wrinkle injection to reduce the appearance of frow lines temporarily. First approved for use in 2011 and scheduled to be released in 2012, Xeomin experienced a 10-month delay in its roll-out after Allergan filed a case over claims that some of its employees, after leaving Allergan, took confidential data to Merz.

Breast implant market to generate $2,866.7 million by 2027: Report

By 2027, the breast implant market will potentially generate $2,866.7 million, according to a latest report. From 2022 to 2027, the market is expected to expand at a CAGR of 6.55%, the report titled ‘Breast Implant Market, Size, Global Forecast 2023- 2027, Industry Trends, Share, Growth, Insight, Impact of Inflation, Company Analysis’ stated.

Physical appearance, ease of access to the procedure, and technological advancements in breast implant are the main factors contributing to the growth of the breast implant market. Furthermore, the market is growing because of increasing cases of breast cancer.

Hospitals hold the largest share in the breast implant market. According to the report, this is attributed to the accessibility of trained and board-certified surgeons, growing focus on offering high-quality surgical care and increased efficiency. Apart from this, treatments such as post-surgical care and ongoing observation provided in hospitals is further likely to boost patient choice during the forecast period.

NASM launches physique and bodybuilding coaching programme

US-based National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) has launched Physique and Bodybuilding Coach Program (NASM-PBC), a course that provides science-backed nutrition, training and coaching strategies so that people can accomplish their aesthetic-based goals.

The course is offered online so that people from any location can access it. According to NASM, the programme consists of more than 30 experts and provides evidencebased coaching, training, and nutrition strategies.

“Many well-known diet and fitness programs, especially those on social media, fail to offer a comprehensive and evidence-based approach to coaching and training for competitive fitness and bodybuilding,” reportedly said Mike Fantigrassi, Senior Director of Product Development for NASM.“In order to attain aesthetic goals in a fun and engaging online environment, it is critical to provide people with the scientifically sound information on recommended practices that we provide inside our program.”
