The Iris Bluetonning Way Powered with MLA Technology

What is IRIS?

Iris is an innovative Q-switched Nd:YAG device that emits laser energies a Nd Wavelength of 532 nm, 1064 nm, SLP and Blue Toning. The composition of its laser resonators are designed in a way that allows uniformed laser beams, acquiring excellent beam qualities in Top Hat Mode. Unlike other competing devices, Iris is the first smart laser machine in the world with the highest repetition of 15 Hz, the highest maximum energy of 2,200 mJ and the biggest 9Ф Rods with stable energy plus double cooling systems. This allows highly safe and efficient treatments of pigmented lesions with minimal pain and discomfort. Furthermore, it is the world’s first laser device that is independently assessed by a central monitoring system.

Why BLUETONNING?

Most Q-switched Nd:YAG and PTP Q technology energies are divided into two parallel energies at 50% each. Conversely, the Iris device divides Q energies to 60% and 40% because studies prove that increased energies in the beginning of the treatment produces better outcomes of collagen regeneration. The device’s user-friendly interface of four different hand pieces (MLA 1064NM, KTP 532nm Fractional, 1064nm Fractional, 1064 7 Fixed Collimated and Basic Zoom) can treat any dermal discoloration as long as pigments are black, brown or blue. If patients come in seeking nevus of ota and café au lait spot reduction or tattoo removal, at least three to six monthly sessions are necessary. Melasma patients will require more treatment sessions of 10 to 15 weekly sessions as lower energy levels are emitted. Apart from pigmentation eradication, Iris can additionally reduce pores in only five bi-weekly sessions through stimulation of the body’s natural collagen.

MLA treatment (LIOB/LIC treatment)

Unlike other QS Nd:YAG, Iris can create Laser Induced Optical Breakdown (LIOB) with low energy. LIOB mechanism allows a cavitation effect through plasma formation with the MLA handpieces. (300μm)

LIOB (Dermal 300μm): Skin rejuvenation or skin tightening and lifting or collagen regeneration

LIC (Epiderma100μm): Skin brightening and toning

How do doctors feel about IRIS?

Dr Jagdish Sakhiya (MD Skin): “IRIS is our clinic’s best laser bluetonning partner because its higher laser energy generator can help perform more than 30 plus procedures on a daily basis with the optimum satisfaction ratio.”

Dr Yogesh Bhingradia (MD Skin): “IRIS BLUETONNING is a novel approach for instant glow using QS Nd:Yag laser with unique PTP Technology.”

• Dr Arpit Shrimal (MD Skin, Indore): “The IRIS MLA Handpiece Technology can bring in a new era to treat acne scar and anti-ageing processes in our clinic.”
