RECOVERY IN THE NEW YEAR!

Finally, India has welcomed the New Year with the vaccine – the vaccine against the novel coronavirus. Doctors from the aesthetic community too have been taking their dose. In my conversation with a few of them, some did weather a reaction from the vaccine, but have recovered and are back to normal activities. Feels great seeing India making its rapid entry to recovery.

The year 2021 certainly brings in a ray of hope for the aesthetics community as well. Doctors have been getting busy, which could be a positive sign for the pharma and devices industry as well. It has been an interesting month where we reached out to our editorial advisory panel to know their predictions on treatments and trends that will shape the aesthetic market this year (Pg 48).

This edition focuses on treating acne and do read it for insights on acne types and treatments (Pg 14), modalities for acne scars (Pg 20), polycystic ovarian syndrome (Pg 34), and using laser and light to treat acne vulgaris (Pg 39). This and there are much more content for an informative read as you flip through.

Wishing you a prosperous New Year 2021, and an informative read.
