The top 5 cosmetic procedures men are choosing

In recent times, the realm of cosmetic treatments has seen an increased interest from men, marking a shift from the historical association of such procedures with women. With a surge in grooming consciousness and a desire to look their best, men are actively participating in various cosmetic treatments, challenging the conventional gender-based notions in this field. India, topping the Asia-Pacific region in new beauty product launches for men, has witnessed a significant rise in cosmetic procedures. The 19.3 per cent increase in cosmetic treatments in 2021 attests to this evolving trend, highlighting a growing inclination toward personal grooming among men.

Notably, among the five most common cosmetic treatments for men, gynaecomastia surgery ranks high, addressing male breast gland tissue imbalance.

Liposuction remains prevalent, targeting stubborn fat areas, especially in the abdomen. Rhinoplasty, a procedure altering nose appearance, and hair transplants for receding hairlines are also increasingly sought after by men.

Additionally, botulinum treatments, addressing ageing signs and facial contours, are gaining popularity among both men and women.
