VPRP is a concentrate of platelet-rich plasma proteins derived from the whole blood, centrifuged to remove the red blood cells. It has a greater concentration of growth factors than whole blood, and has been used to encourage a brisk healing response across several specialties, in particular plastic surgery, dentistry, orthopaedics and dermatology. Kits are provided for each variant: ACD + Gel – anti-acne and anti-ageing; sodium citrate + Gel & Sodium Heparin + gel – wrinkles; ACD + Gel + hyaluronic tube - skin hydration; and ACD + Gel + Biotin tube-hair.
